PENDAHULUAN:

Manajemen perawatan yang efektif diperlukan untuk dapan meningkatakan performansi perusahaan, baik dari aspek biaya maupun aspek teknis. Kegiatan ini dimulai sejak merencanakan kebutuhan part sampai dengan mengorganisasikan part yang dibutuhkan. Kebutuhan part dalam kaitan dengn kegiatan maintenance merupakan kebutuhan yang probabilstik mengingat laju kegagalan sebuah mesin tidak dapat diperdiksikan. Oleh karena itu dengan memahami kondisi suatu system, yang dilihat dari laju kerusakannya maka dapat direncanakan kebutuhan akan part sebagai pendukung kegiatan maintenance

Kegagalan dalam merencanakan kebutuhan part berdampak pada ketidakefisienan baik dalam masalah biaya dan penggunaan waktu akibat downtime dari sebuah mesin akibat ketiadaan part yang dibutuhkan. Sehingga perlu manajemen spare part yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan manajemen yang sesuai dengan karakteristik mesin/ system.

TUJUAN

  • Menentukan laju kegagalan sebuah system/ mesin, sehingga dapat dilihat karakteristik kebutuhan spare part mesin tersebut
  • Merencanakan kebutuhan spare part sebagai dampak dari kegiatan maintenance

Selain mengajar sebagai dosen, di Kampusnya Beliau juga pernah menjadi kepala laboratorium perancangan system kerja dan ergonomic dan juga menjadi PIC unit penjaminan mutu institute teknologi nasional dan kepala bagian monitoring dan evaluasi bidang non akademin UPM institute teknologi nasional. Beliau juga memiliki pengalaman riil pengerjaan projek diantaranya Pembuatan Standar Kompetensi bidang Pengelasan, Jasa Konsultansi Sumber Daya Manusia Penyediaan Konsultansi Key Performance Indicator Dalam Rangka Reformasi Birokrasi Departemen Keuangan, Jasa Konsultasi Perizinan & Studi Kelayakan Pendirian SPBU & SPPBE. Beliau terlibat secara aktif di beberapa organisasi di kampus maupun di lingkungan social. Ibu Caecilia Sri Wahyuning S.  Secara aktif melakukan penelitian dan melakukan publikasi karya ilmiah Beliau di dalam dan luar negeri.
